Our Mission and Vision
Queen Lake Pharmacy is dedicated to providing personalized pharmacy services to the Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities that will ultimately result in optimal medication outcomes. Bios of Owners
Jonah Mikhail
After completing his degree in Pharmacy, Jonah opened his own pharmacy in Egypt. Years later, he immigrated to Canada with his family to begin a new journey and received his license to practice as a pharmacist in Canada.
He purchased Queen Lake Pharmacy in 2001 and has been working tirelessly to provide exceptional patient care to his clients. His passion for Pharmacy has led all his children to pursue Pharmacy as a career, as well. Jonah continues to provide exceptional care to his clients, and with a new team of four additional pharmacists, you can depend on them to help manage any condition.
Mina Mikhail
After completing a bachelor’s degree at Brock University, Mina went on to complete a Pharmacy degree from the University of Waterloo. He then moved back home to help his father in the pharmacy and expanded to two locations that serve Stoney Creek and Hamilton.
He received his designation as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist to pursue his passion of helping the elderly address medication-related issues. Mina married Marian who was his classmate at the University of Waterloo in 2013 and is now the Certified Diabetes Educator at Queen Lake Pharmacy.
Marian Gurguis
Marian completed both a bachelor’s degree and a Pharmacy degree from the University of Waterloo. She initiated the diabetes education program at Queen Lake Pharmacy and received referrals from physicians to educate patients on diabetes management.
Marian works tirelessly with patients and their family doctor to ensure that patients reach their glycemic goals. She also provides training and counseling on all medications and devices. She has vast experience having worked at Pharmasave, Costco Pharmacy, Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hospital in Hamilton and Niagara Health Systems in St. Catharines.
Bishoy Mikhail
Bishoy completed his Pharmacy degree at the University of Queensland in Australia. He specializes in Specialty Compounding and has received many certifications and completed training courses to expand his compounding services.
Marina Mikhail
Marina graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. While working at Queen Lake Pharmacy and Montgomery Pharmacy, she also works at the St. Catharines General Hospital as the Mental Health Pharmacist.
